Kai Simson is a Senator representing The College of Professional Studies of The George Washington University Student Association for the 2021/2022 school year.

Simson is a first-year graduate student studying Political Management.

"My passion has always been to ensure that every student's voices are heard in their student government and school community as a whole. I am so honored to have this opportunity to serve as one of two Graduate Senators for the College of Professional Studies here at GW. I am in the Graduate School of Political Management and I am getting my masters in Political Management. Down the road, my goal is to run for public office. I am originally from Arizona and moved to Washington, DC in June. I got my bachelors degree at Northern Arizona University and was a part of the student government there in various positions such as a Senator and as part of the executive branch as the Vice President of Government Affairs. In these positions, my goals were to continue building the relationship between the student body and our student government. In my role as VP for Government Affairs, I worked hard to build engagement with the 2020 election amongst our Student Body. Now as a graduate Senator in the GW Student Association, I hope I can do everything that I can to ensure that every student has a voice in the SA and want to help build the SA's relationship with the broader GW community and DC. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me by email at: I would be happy to set up a meeting with you either in-person or virtually to discuss what issues are important to you. I am here to represent you!"
