The Student Association would like to announce that RMA Worldwide Chauffeured Transportation will provide services for Vern Express and Virginia Science and Technology Campus shuttle service starting July 1st. The Student Association has made efficient transportation and its potential to improve the student experience a priority this year by partnering with the Division of Operations.
Changes with the selection of RMA include improvements to the Vern Express experience. WiFi will be provided to allow students the ability to stay better connected while moving between the Foggy Bottom and Mt. Vernon campuses.
Sustainability will be a priority of this new partnership through the selection of gas-only hybrid vehicles. And, we’re looking forward to working on buff and blue branding for the new Vern Express shuttles to better connect the service with the GW student experience.
We're excited that we were able to work together to drastically enhance a vital part of the student experience for students living and utilizing the Mt. Vernon Campus through the selection of a new shuttle provider. We look forward to continuing our work in enhancing the student experience so that the Vern can continue to play a vibrant role in our community.
