The Office of the Vice President would like to update the student body on the hiring process for the Office of Advocacy and Support (OAS). OAS is conducting interviews for the Advocacy Specialist position. AVP for University Resilience Fox of the Division of Safety and Facilities sent an invitation to the Student Association and GW Students Against Sexual Assault (SASA) to participate in this process. This student panel will have a discussion with the finalists and provide their insight into the hiring process. According to AVP Fox, the student panel will consist of:
1 representative from the Student Association Executive
1 representative from the Student Association Senate
2 Co-Presidents of GW Students Against Sexual Assault (SASA)
This hiring process will be conducted during July. Vice President Yan Xu will serve as the Student Association Senate representative. The Office of the Vice President will continue to provide updates on this process.
