Chris is currently a second year doctoral student in the Higher Education Administration program at the Graduate School of Education and Human Development (GSEHD).


During undergrad at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, Chris was very involved in student life, serving as a senator in the Student Government Association, Resident Assistant in Residence Life, and as an Orientation Leader. Since moving to Washington, DC from Tennessee in 2016, Chris has been active in local and national professional associations. Chris has served as the Federal Relations Committee Chair (2019-20) for the DE-DC-MD Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators, NASFAA Graduate and Professional Caucus Chair (2019-2021), and has served on committees and task forces in his regional and state associations as well as the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators. Chris is the current Director of Financial Aid at The GW Law School.


Chris holds a bachelor's degree from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and master's degree from The University of Memphis.
