Biography

Arielle Geismar is the President of The George Washington University Student Association for the 2023-2024 school year.
​
Geismar is an undergraduate senior from New York City. She studies International Affairs within the Elliott School of International Affairs. Her background is in student organizing and justice organizing on issues from mental health to women's and LGBTQ+ rights.
​
Last year, Arielle served as the President of the Residence Hall Association (RHA), representing over 8,000 on-campus students. As President, her wins include creating the annual queer celebration HAUS, prioritized new dining halls having back-of-house composting saving 94,000 pounds of food waste, and overseeing the instillation of feminine hygiene products in public bathrooms of GW's campus.

As President, Arielle will be focusing on student health, safety, and experience.
